Statistically speaking, 50% of marriages in the United States end in divorce with subsequent marriages producing even worse results. 60% of second marriages and 70% of third marriages end in divorce. Divorce is a devastating break of union between a man and a women which shatters homes across our country. What are we to do about this? Among the top reasons for divorce are infidelity and financial problems. Can these problems be resolved? The answer is an emphatic, YES! But it cannot be done without the help of God.

Too many marriages today are built on no foundation. First, we must begin building a foundation upon the very word of God; “Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock” (Matthew 7:24-27). Once this foundation is achieved, a husband and wife will begin to build upon that foundation discovering what it means to have oneness in Christ; “For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh” (Ephesians 5:31). Nothing is more rewarding than finding oneness with your spouse.

In this class we strive to build marriages that last while also developing friendships we could never live without. We do this by teaching Murfreesboro couples’ biblical principles that will cultivate Oneness for Christ in their marriage. We meet every Sunday morning at 9:30 AM.
